Here are some useful tips that *YOU* can follow when sending in your Apple product(s) that may help smooth the servicing experience at Switch™!

  • 1) Let us know what is wrong with your product(s), with as much details as possible!
    • - Any records on the error messages, settings you have tried, or other notes on the problems you have faced, may help us in making a quick and accurate diagnostics of your product(s).
  • 2) Don't forget to bring your power adapters and installation disks!
    • - If you are bringing in a laptop, or a Mac Mini, please bring along your power adapter, and do not forget to bring your installation disks as well if a system restore is necessary.
  • 3) Know the charges for servicing your product(s) at Switch™, and do not hesitate to ask us!
    • - If your product(s) is "In Warranty", there would normally be no charges for the services - with the sole exception of software issues which is chargeable.
    • If your product(s) is "Out Of Warranty", the charges start from RM 80.00 for computers (MacBooks, iMacs, etc.), and RM 40.00 for mobile devices and accessories (iPod, iPad, etc.). An estimate of the total repair costs will be given to you, prior to proceeding with any repairs or services.
  • 4) Understand the service duration for your product(s) at Switch™, and please be patient!
    • - Once your product(s) is "dropped off" at the Switch™ service centre, an initial diagnostics of your product(s) will be done within 3 working days. Please be patient while we resolve your issues as the duration of the service may be affected by the volume of incoming repairs.
  • 5) Keep your Switch™ Repair Receipt, and take note of the Repair Receipt number!
    • - You can always refer to the phone number or the E-mail address on the Switch™ Repair Receipt to contact us on the status of your repairs. Remember to provide your Repair Receipt number (It is the one starting with a RRxxxxx.) to us so that we can check our records and give you an update!
  • 6) Remember to collect your product(s) from Switch™ after the service or repairs!
    • - Switch™ will constantly notify you to collect back your product(s) once it has been serviced or repaired, but if your product(s) is not collected after 60 days from the date of the completion of services or repairs, Switch™ will consider it as "unwanted" and reserves the right to dispose or recycle that product(s).
